CSS Dimensions Order

In the CSS box model structure (CSS Dimensions Order), the border surrounds every box means that element, the padding

edge that can appear inside each box and the margin edge that can go around them.

finally, In CSS Dimensions Order, we can say that all HTML elements in a box model (CSS Dimensions Order) are
represented as rectangular boxes or container.

let’s know that how to calculate the box model dimension, as discussed box model represented as rectangular so the

dimensions of the box model are calculated by using the height and width (X-axis and Y-axis) of the content area (or text area) that gets applied to the element.

therefore default, in CSS each box or container is associated with a content area (text-area) and many optional areas,

such as padding, border, and margin. the box model dimensions the size of each area shown in the following figure:

therefore, as a default the width and height will be auto, means The height and width can be set to auto and length

values, like cm, px, etc. or in percent (%) of the containing block.

therefore, The max-width property is used to set the maximum width of an element and max-width property used to set the minimum width of an element.

finally, The max-width and min-width can be specified in length values, like cm, px, etc., or in percent (%) of the containing block.
